The primary focus of the North
American Democratic Education
Conference is to facilitate the
sharing of tools and ideas to
better our schools and learning
environments. This will be a
conference where we continue to
build a stronger and more
cohesive community of democratic
schools and programs across
North America. This is a
conference for learners,
educators, and those intimately
involved in democratic
education. We hope for this
conference to be useful,
empowering, and inspiring to all
types of democratic
schools and learning
environments.
Registration, fees, and further
information will be posted soon.
NADEC and AERO Conference will
offer special rates for dual
attendance.

affiliated with AERO Conference.
It should be thought of as a
pre-conference for those
specifically involved in
democratic education as AERO is
a co-host. AERO and AERO
Conference attempt to network
and support all educational
alternatives with a
learner-centered approach.
AERO has agreed to sponsor NADEC
to support democratic education
which promotes this educational
approach. If you are
